A sold-out crowd in Boise witnessed an unexpected Korn reunion Saturday night when bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu performed alongside guitarist Brian “Head” Welch for the first time since 2021, and NewReleaseToday was there to capture the incredible night.

The moment came during the September 26 opening of The Whosoevers’ new headquarters, a state of the art intimate venue with a packed 200+ sold out crowd and at least that many overflowing into the parking lot party.

Fieldy and Head took the stage with Lacey Sturm (Flyleaf), Tommy Green from Sleeping Giant, and former Papa Roach drummer Dave Buckner as part of “Boise Invasion,” an all-ages event that also included a performance by P.O.D., who welcomed Sonny’s son, Justice. Local urban artists Kurtis Hoppie and Derek Ryan rounded out the night’s line-up, while Jimmy Rock hosted an EDM after-party. Outside, a free block party offered autograph signings, food trucks and raffles for signed guitars.

The appearance followed several recent signs that the longtime bandmates had reconnected. They attended a Sevendust concert together the previous night and spent time with guitarist Clint Lowery, who later shared that the three laughed, prayed, and talked. Earlier this year, Fieldy publicly thanked Head after he gave guitars to Fieldy and his son.

Fieldy has been away from Korn since 2021, with Ra Díaz filling in on bass. His last performance with Head was the band’s *Monumental* livestream that April. Together, the two founding members helped define Korn’s sound across albums such as Follow the Leader and Issues.

The Whosoevers was co-founded by Head, P.O.D.’s Sonny Sandoval, and Ryan Ries. The faith-based movement has visited schools, skateparks, and stages since 2009, addressing subjects including addiction, depression, and identity.
