Landman‘s leading actresses just got a big pay raise heading into Season 3 of the Paramount+ show. Several may have even doubled their previous per episode pay.

The salary increases seem to affect most of the cast, save star Billy Bob Thornton who was on a four season contract. Demi Moore and Ali Larter are the two stars who got the biggest bump.

• Landman Season 2 wrapped in January.
• Sam Elliott and Andy Garcia joined for the season and both seem poised to return for Season 3.
• There’s not been any information released about a S3 premiere.

Deadline shares that Thornton’s pay is between $740,000 and $770,000.

Landman Cast Salaries Revealed:

The entertainment trade says that Moore’s new salary is comparable with Thornton’s. This would reflect her increased role on the show. She wasn’t in many scenes during Season 1 — and very few of significance — but with Season 2 she became a key character as CEO of M-Tex Oil.

Her season ended with a risk. The company had just sent a rig to drill for gas in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Louisiana. Thornton’s Tommy Norris believes this is too big a risk and as a result he’s fired.

Ali Larter plays Tommy Norris’ wife Angela and while she doesn’t have an official role with the company, her relationship with Tommy guides many decisions. She’s also just flat-out entertaining to watch and a regular scene-stealer.

Deadline shares that for Season 3 her per episode pay will be at or above $350K, more than doubling Season 2.

Also doubling their pay (or close) is Jacob Lofland and Michelle Randolph, who play Cooper and Ainsley Norris (Tommy and Angela’s kids). They’ll now make between $130,000 and $180,000 an episode.

The actors who play Ariana, Rebecca, Dale and Sheriff Walt Joeberg are also said to be doubling their salary.

Season 3 of Landman was renewed soon after an impressive debut for Season 2. Over nine million people streamed Ep. 1 and over 14 million came back for the finale.
