Skillet Debuts New Song on Tour

Rock veterans Skillet debuted a brand new song during a show in Bulgaria on their current European tour. Frontman John Cooper said this would be the only stop on the current tour that they would play the new song, but that it was set to be released in June.

The song is called “Scream” and features some of Cooper’s screaming vocals, but is dominated by the melodic sounds and themes that have helped make Skillet one of the premier names in both Christian and mainstream rock. The band had previously promised that they would release new music in 2026 and that they were looking to make it on the heavier side, after the rave reviews for their heavier rendition of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” last Christmas season.
